
ReVouge – Wear to Care and Ujjwala Foundation jointly hosted a three-day exhibition concluded in Dhaka on Saturday.
Media personalities came forward to support cancer patients by donating their valuable clothing items at the exhibition, said a press release.
This year’s exhibition featured participation from renowned personalities, including television host Samia Afrin, beauty expert Afroza Parveen, actress Tanvin Sweety, singers Ankhi Alamgir and Kona, model Piya Jannatul, actress Afsan Ara Bindu, TV host Ismat Chaiti and actress Deepa Khandaker.
All proceeds from this exhibition will be dedicated to the treatment of cancer patients.
Regarding the event, Samia Afrin, co-founder of Ujjwala Foundation and the key organiser, shared her vision, ‘Life does not stop. If we fight, we can ignite new hopes. In the battle against cancer, every person, every contribution, and every touch of kindness brings the promise of a new dawn. Let us all stand together for life and hope.’
‘This is just the beginning. In future, we aim to involve more people in this noble cause and extend greater mental and financial support to cancer patients. We are immensely grateful to everyone who has contributed to making this initiative a success,’ she added.
Ujjwala Foundation’s chairperson, Afroza Parveen, extended her gratitude to all those who stood by this cause.
