A five-day-long Bangla comics fair organised by Dhaka Comics ends today at Riddhi Gallery of Mirpur in the capital.

The fair was organised to mark the organisation’s 10th anniversary.


The fair comprises seven publications of Bangla comics, Panjeree, Unmad, Graphic Bangla, Cartoon People, Comics Ghor, Prasiddha and Dhaka Comics.

The fair unveiled some Bangla comics including comic collections titled Sangshaptak, Unmad Volume-1, Bajikar and Basic Ali.

Besides, the fair comprises panel discussions, workshops, live caricature and an award titled Tarikul Islam Shanto for young comic artists.

Dhaka Comics founder and publisher Mehedi Haque said that they wanted to organise the fair every year.

The fair was inaugurated by Unmad Editor Ahsan Habib on December 16 and the fair will end today.
