The Sheikh Kamal NSC Award has been changed back to its original name, the National Sports Council Award, on Thursday.
The NSC has called upon athletes, organisers, emerging talent, sports organisations, commentators, sports journalists, and sponsoring organisations to submit their applications by July 7.
There will be eight categories of awards, including the lifetime achievement award, given to winners in recognition of their contributions to the country鈥檚 sports.
This award, previously renamed in 2022, is the second highest sports honour in the country, following the National Sport Award.
