
Defending champions Bangladesh will face Thailand in the first semi-final of the 12-team Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi Tournament at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur today.
The match between Pool A champions Bangladesh and the Pool B runners-up Thailand will start at 4:00pm followed by the second semi-final between The Pool B champions Kenya and Pool A runners-up Nepal at 5:00pm.
Bangladesh reached the last four with all-win 10 points from five games as they beat Nepal 46-31, Poland 79-28, Indonesia 59-19, Malaysia 73-22 and South Korea by 67-22 points.
Kenya also earned 10 points from five games to become Pool B champions while Thailand and Nepal both earned eight points each with four wins to end runners-up from their respective pools.
