Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy organised a musical event titled Awaaz Ura addressing the recent student-led mass uprising at its Nandan Mancha in Dhaka on Friday.
The event was inaugurated by an injured of the Students' Movement Against Discrimination Mohammad Ashraful Islam Fahim while the movement’s martyred journalist Tahir Zaman Priyo’s mother Samsi Ara Zaman Koli was present as special guest.
The event was presided over by the BSA director general Syed Jamil Ahmed.
Rapper Hannan Hossain Shimul and his team, musical bands, including F- Minor, Jin Brothers, Democrazy Clowns and music team of the BSA performed song at the event.
The event also featured songs of national minority communities performed by Lumbini Chakma, Dharma Santosh Tanchajja, Duke Murmu, Samapan Small, Ahmed Hasan Sunny, among others.
