Under the ‘Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Programme’ funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented by the Finance Division, a month-long entrepreneur development training programme was jointly organised by the Bangladesh Bank and Rupali Bank PLC.

The bank recently held the programme’s closing ceremony at the Rupali Bank Training Academy, where certificates and souvenirs were distributed among 24 trained entrepreneurs.


Bangladesh Bank director Naushad Mostafa was present as chief guest at the event.

The event was presided over by Md Noman Mia, principal and general manager of Rupali Bank Training Academy.

Special guests included Md Nazrul Islam, programme director of SICIP; Md Ayub Ali, deputy programme director; Tanvir Hasnain Moin, divisional head and general manager of Dhaka South Division of Rupali Bank; and Mohammad Afzal Hossain, head of general loan and SME.

The training programme was inaugurated on October 6 by Rupali Bank managing director Kazi Md Wahidul Islam.
