Syed Zubayer Ahmed joined National Bank PLC as deputy managing director on Monday, said a press release.
Before joining National Bank, he served as vice president and head of international regulatory reporting 鈥� group financial control department at Qatar National Bank, Doha.
Prior to his tenure at QNB, he served as resident vice-president (financial control) at Citibank NA, Bangladesh, senior vice-president and head of finance at Eastern Bank PLC and led the finance department of Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Limited.
He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He holds an executive MBA (finance) from North South University, Dhaka.
