Rezaul Karim, chairman, Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh and vice-chairman, Asian Shippers’ Alliance left Dhaka for Bali, Indonesia on Sunday for attending Asian Shippers’ Alliance and Global Shippers’ Alliance annual meeting scheduled to be held on November 5 to 7 at the Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Bali, Indonesia organised by Indonesia National Shippers’ Council.
The meeting will discuss on countries economic and trade performance, major challenges faced by shippers, ASA-GSA future developments, Work Plan 2026 and ASA & GSA membership issue etc, says a press release.
Apart from Bangladesh, European, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Australia Shippers’ Council; Thai & Malaysian National Shippers’ Council & Macau Shippers’ Association and American Association of Exporters & Importer’s representatives will also attend the meeting.
SCB senior vice-chairman Md Ariful Ahsan will accompany the Chairman.
