Jiban Bima Corporation on Sunday inaugurated its ‘Customer Service Fortnight’ programme under the Financial Institutions Division’s Youth Festival 2025 initiative, said a press release.

The programme will take place from October 19 to November 2.


At the event, the corporation also launched its JBC Pension Insurance.

JBC managing director and additional secretary Md Mohibuzzaman inaugurated the event.

Among others, FID deputy secretary Mohammad Abraoul Hasan Majumder was present.

During the service fortnight, arrangements have been made to provide all customers with improved services and special facilities.

At this time, with the aim of ensuring the prompt settlement of insurance claims and increased publicity regarding insurance opportunities and facilities, all regional offices, corporate offices and sales offices of the corporation will take necessary measures.

The JBC Pension Insurance scheme has been designed keeping in mind the financial needs of retired life. The main features of the insurance scheme are: Policyholder will receive lifetime pension benefits; Nominee of this policy will also remain under the coverage of the pension benefit; Upon maturity, pension benefits may be received either in a lump sum or as a monthly allowance; Income tax rebate is available on the paid premium; and Policy can be availed by individuals aged between 20 and 60 years.
