Citizens Bank PLC has signed a partnership agreement with the Bangladesh Bank under ‘Refinancing Scheme for Women Entrepreneurs in Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,’ said a press release
Citizens Bank managing director Alamgir Hossain and BB SME and Special Programs Department director (current charge) Muhammad Mustafizur Rahman signed the agreement at the central bank head office.
BB deputy governor Nurun Nahar and executive director Husne Ara Shikha were present on the occasion.
As per the agreement, women entrepreneurs in SME sector of Citizens Bank will be able to avail low-cost financing facilities under the Bangladesh Bank’s refinancing scheme.
Among others, Citizens Bank deputy managing directors Md Mostafizur Rahman and Md Abdul Latif were present.
