The 27th annual general meeting of Union Capital Limited was held at Gulshan Shooting Club in Dhaka on Tuesday. Union Capital chairman and independent director, Munshi Shafiul Haque, presided over the meeting.
Among the directors, Nadeem A Chaudhury, independent director nominated by Bangladesh Securities AND Exchange Commission associate professor of Management Studies Department of Dhaka University Qazi Moinuddin Mahmud, independent director Fakhruddin Ahmed, Mohammad Anwarul Haque, Mohammad Eklas Uddin, and administrator Md Ferdaush Hossain participated in the AGM.
Md Abdul Hannan, company secretary (current charge), Representative of聽 auditor Syful Shamsul Alam & Co and scrutinizing institute Suraiya Parveen and Associates, officials of Union Capital Limited and a good number of shareholders were also participated in the said AGM.
The shareholders present in the said meeting expressed their opinion that they have full confidence and support in the steps taken by the current board of directors and the management in transitioning the company from its current status. The shareholders also assured to extend their full cooperation as and when applicable so that the company can conduct its business activities in future with the same reputation as before.
