ADN Telecom Limited and ADN Technologies Limited, business units under ADN Group, have signed agreements with South Korean companies CND Motors Co Limited and PBS Co Limited to collaborate on sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy and smart mobility solutions in Bangladesh.

According to a press release, the agreements encompass three projects aimed at supporting Bangladesh’s technological advancement and sustainable growth: assembly and supply of electric three-wheeler, intelligent traffic management and AI-based traffic signal solutions, solar streetlight installation project. The signing ceremony was held at ADN Group headquarters in the capital on Wednesday.


As part of the deals, ADN will initiate preliminary steps to establish assembly facilities and drive sustainable technology projects in the Hi-Tech Park and will also oversee market development and regulatory compliance.

The South Korean counterpart will provide cutting-edge technology, equipment and technical expertise.

‘By combining international expertise with local capabilities, we are paving the way for smarter cities, cleaner energy, and modernized mobility,’ said Asif Mahmood, chairman of ADN Group.

During the session, Henry Hilton, managing director of ADN Telecom, AM Ehsan-ul Haque, COO of ADN Technologies, Mohammad Nazim Uddin, CFO of ADN Group, Md Nasimul Hoq Majumder, director — government business development of ADN Technologies, Oh Sung-Lok, chairman of CND Motors and Joe, director of CND Motors, were present.

The collaborations will be executed through joint collaboration to be established in Bangladesh, with the aim of ensuring technology transfer, local job creation and long-term operational sustainability, the release said.
