Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC provided financial assistance to Mst Fahmida Akter, a resident of Kachu Mia Colony of Sylhet District, for surgery on rotten parts of bones of both of her legs.
The bank extended the support as part of corporate social responsibility programme, according to a press release.
SAVP and Subidbazar branch manager SJIB AK Reza Ahmed Chowdhury handed over the donation cheque on behalf of the Bank to Fahmida Akter on Monday.
Among others, Subidbazar branch JEO Reza Nurtaz Jaman and SO Ariful Islam were present.
