Southeast Bank Training Institute organised a half-day workshop titled ‘Internal Control for Anti-Fraud and Related Significant Compliance Issues of the Bank,’ said a press release.
Southeast Bank PLC independent director and audit committee chairman M Moyeen Alam Firozee was present as chief guest in the workshop on August 30.
Bangladesh Bank Training Academy joint director Md Farhad Hossain was present as the keynote speaker.
Managing director (current charge) Abidur Rahman Chowdhury was also present in the workshop.
Officials of internal control and compliance division and manager operations of 15 Dhaka-based AD branches of the bank participated in the workshop, reflecting Southeast Bank PLC’s commitment to strengthening compliance, governance and anti-fraud practices, the release said.
