BASIC Bank Limited on Monday organised a programme titled ‘Innovation Showcase and Award Giving Ceremony,’ said a press release.
In the event, three key innovations of the bank were presented, namely Document Management Software, Non-Performing Loan Management Software and Pension Pay Through Magpie Mobile App. Among these, the third initiative was accepted and nominated as the best innovation and an award was presented to the respective innovation team members — AGM Md Khademul Islam, SPOs Md Rowshan Shahriar and Md Jahirul Islam.
Financial Institutions Division additional secretary Md Ahsan Kabir was present as chief guest, joint secretary Farida Yasmin as a special guest and BASIC Bank chairman Helal Ahmed Chowdhury as a guest of honour.
BASIC Bank managing director and chief executive officer Md. Quamruzzaman Khan presided over the ceremony held at the bank’s head office.
The event was held under supervision of the FID as part of BASIC Bank’s e-Governance and Innovation Action Plan for 2024-25 financial year.
Among others, BASIC Bank deputy managing director Subash Chandra Das, general managers Md Ismail, Md Momenul Hoque, Md Nashir Uddin, Sumit Ranjan Nath, Md Hasan Imam, Dulon Kanti Chakraborty, Md Ghulam Sayeed Khan, Saidur Rahman Sohel, Nurur Rahman Chowdhury, deputy general managers AM Shahed Husain, Helena Parvin, Md Helal Uddin, Mohammad Jasim Uddin and Mohammad Nazmul Islam were present.
