
MetLife Bangladesh has recently signed an agreement with Good Neighbors Bangladesh, said a press release.
As part of this contract, 248 employees of Good Neighbors Bangladesh will receive insurance coverage for loss of life and medical coverage.
MetLife Bangladesh assistant managing director and chief corporate business officer Mohammad Kamruzzaman and Good Neighbors Bangladesh country director M Mainuddin Mainul signed the deal at the latter鈥檚 premises.
The organisation has selected MetLife Bangladesh as its insurance provider due to MetLife鈥檚 consistent track record of claims settlement, customised solutions, advanced dashboards, cashless outpatient and ambulance services and financial strength, which enables it to settle claims faster and without hassle, the release said.
Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian and development organisation, working in 50 countries, with a mission to improve lives of others, particularly children, through various programmes focused on education, community development, health, sanitation and disaster relief.
In Bangladesh, MetLife provides insurance protection to over 1 million individual customers, 3,00,000 employees and their dependents of more than 900 organisations. In the year 2024, MetLife policy holders received about Tk 2,895 crore in claims and in the last six years it has settled claims of more than Tk 10,500 crore.
