The Bangladesh Bridge Authority has recently signed an agreement with Mercantile Bank PLC regarding toll collection of the 6th Bangladesh-China Friendship Bridge, also called Mukterpur Bridge, said a press release.
Bridges Division secretary and BBA executive director Mohammad Abdur Rouf was present as chief guest.
BBA director (finance and accounts) and joint secretary Khandakar Nurul Haque and MBPLC deputy managing director Md Zahid Hossein signed the agreement at Brides Division premises in the capital.
