Prime Bank PLC recognised seven of its entrepreneur clients from across the country for their outstanding contributions on the occasion of World MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) Day 2025.

The recognition was conferred at a special event titled ‘Entrepreneurs’ Conference and Recognition Ceremony’, at a hotel in Dhaka on Saturday.


From the bank’s over 11,500 active loan clients, six SME entrepreneurs and one agri-entrepreneur were selected for special recognition.

The event was graced by Naushad Mostafa, director, SMESPD, Bangladesh Bank, as chief guest.

The keynote address was delivered by Md Nazim Hasan Sattar, deputy managing director, SME Foundation.

Also in attendance were Hassan O Rashid, CEO of Prime Bank PLC, M Nazeem A. Chowdhury, deputy managing director and other senior officials of the bank.

Hassan O Rashid said, ‘These businesses are the arteries of our economy. They generate employment, drive rural development and form the backbone of a self-reliant Bangladesh. The growth of this sector means prosperity, stability and a society with equal opportunities.’
