An extra ordinary general meeting of Pioneer Insurance Company Limited was held for changing the name of the company from ‘Pioneer Insurance Company Limited’ to ‘Pioneer Insurance PLC’ and to increase the authorised share capital from 100 Crore to 200 Crore.
Zakir Ahmed Khan, chairman of the company presided over the meeting on Wednesday on digital platform.
Among the directors, Sylvana Sikder, Shahana Rahmatullah, MA Majed, Sanchia Chowdhury, Anika Chowdhury, Munize Manzur, Parveen Akther, Rozina Afroze, Shafiqul Islam Khan and Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah took part in the priogramme.
Chief executive officer Syed Shahriyar Ahsan and company secretary SM Mizanur Rahman were present.
