Pragati Insurance Limited on Thursday held its 39th annual general meeting through digital platform, said a press release.
Chairman Syed M Altaf Hussain presided over the AGM.
Shareholders approved 20 per cent cash dividend and 7 per cent stock dividend for the year 2024.
Among others, directors Khalilur Rahman, Mohammed Abdul Awwal, Md Syedur Rahman, Md Mushfiqur Rahman, Mohammed Abdul Malek, Nasir Latif, Nigar Jahan Chowdhury, Nahreen Yeahea, Syed Muhammad Jan, Tajwar M Awal, independent directors Muhammad Jamaluddin, Hasinatun Naher, Mahbub Anam, adviser Md Rezaul Karim and CEO Syed Sehab Ullah Al-Manjur (ACII) participated in the聽 AGM.
The chairman said in his speech that the company had declared total dividend 27 per cent for the shareholders.
