bKash users now can access collateral-free ‘digital loan’ of up to Tk 50,000 from City Bank directly through the bKash app, said a press release.
Previously capped at Tk 30,000, the loan limit has been increased recently to Tk 50,000 in response to growing customer demand.
Eligible customers can get the ‘digital loan’ from City Bank by tapping ‘Loan’ icon on the bKash app, ranging from Tk 500 to Tk 50,000 for a maximum duration of 6 months. There is no need to go to the bank or file any paperwork for getting the loan.Â
