
The US-Bangla Airlines is set to commence direct flights from Dhaka to Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, expanding its presence in the Middle Eastern aviation sector.
The airline aims to enhance travel convenience for expatriate and working Bangladeshis with its new Dhaka-Riyadh route, launching on April 21, according to a press release issued by the company on Wednesday.
The release said that a 436-seater Airbus A330-300 would operate five flights per week鈥攐n Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Departing from Dhaka at 1:35pm, the flight will reach Riyadh at 5:10pm local time.
The return flight will leave Riyadh at 7:15pm, arriving at Dhaka鈥檚 Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4:00am.
The airline has set the minimum one-way fare from Dhaka to Riyadh at Tk 54,065, with a round-trip fare of Tk 81,998, including taxes and surcharges.
From Riyadh to Dhaka, the one-way fare starts at 846 Saudi Riyals, while the return fare is 1,458 Saudi Riyals.
With a fleet of 24 aircraft, including two Airbus A330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s, US-Bangla currently operates flights to several key international destinations, including Jeddah, Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Male, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chennai, and Kolkata, alongside domestic routes.
