Islami Bank Training and Research Academy inaugurated its 161st internship programme on Tuesday, said a press release.
Obayed Ullah Al Masud, chairman of Islami Bank Banglades PLC, inaugurated the programme as chief guest.
Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director of the bank, presided over the event.
KM Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, deputy managing director of IBBPLC and principal of IBTRA, addressed the welcome speech.
Among others, IBBPLC senior executive vice-president Ahmed Zubayerul Huq and EVP Md Mizanur Rahman Mizi were present.
