Abu Ahmed has joined as director and chairman of board of directors of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh on Sunday, said a press release.
He joined economics department of the University of Dhaka as lecturer in 1976. He has also served as economics department chairman and social sciences faculty dean at the University of Dhaka. He was chairman of Bangladesh Shilpa Bank.
At present, he is serving as director of Chittagong Stock Exchange (nominated) and director of Bakrahbad Gas Company Limited, etc.
