BRAC Bank’s consolidated net profit after-tax (NPAT) in the first six months of 2024 grew by 77 per cent year-on -year to Tk 591 crore supported by deposit and revenue growth, according to press release.
On the standalone basis, the bank’s customer deposits grew by 34 per cent on annualised basis, from Tk 49,132 crore to Tk 57,511 crore in the first half of 2024 and the revenue saw a 37-per cent increase from Tk 1,510 crore to Tk 2,061 crore year-on-year.
On consolidated basis including all subsidiaries, the bank, registered an NPAT of Tk 591 crore in the first half of 2024 compared with Tk 334 crore in 2023.
BRAC Bank’s standalone NPAT for the first half of 2024 was Tk 519 crore, up from Tk 303 crore in the past year, registering a 71-per cent growth.
Consolidated earnings per share (EPS) increased to Tk 2.95 in H1 2024 compared with Tk 1.75 in the corresponding period of 2023.
