The government has raised Sadharan Bima Corporation鈥檚 authorised capital from Tk 1,000 crore to Tk 1,500 crore and its paid-up capital from Tk 500 crore to Tk 900 crore recently, according to a press release.
The government raised the authorised and paid-up capitals of the corporation under 5(3) section of the Bima Corporation Act, 2019, it said.
