Md Anwar Hossain, additional secretary to the government, joined the Export Promotion Bureau as vice-chairman on Sunday, said a press release.
He entered the administration cadre through the 15th BCS in 1995. He began his career as an assistant commissioner at Dhaka and Gazipur collectorates.
He earned bachelor鈥檚 (honours) and master鈥檚 degrees in economics from the Dhaka University. He also holds a master鈥檚 degree with distinction in development economics from Williams College, USA.
