Major Gen. Mashud Razzaq [Retd] and Md. Mustafizur Rahman were elected as the President and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Professional Golfers Association in its election held at Kurmitola Golf Club on May 15.
The organisers were elected for a two-year stint from 2024 to 2026.
As per the press release from the organisation, the election saw a remarkable voter turnout, with 90% of eligible voters participating in shaping the future of professional golf in Bangladesh.
They further added that the BPGA executed a free and fair election through a democratic process where 15 members were elected to serve a two-year term from 2024鈥�2026, ensuring a diverse and representative leadership body for the association.
