鈥楤angladesh believes that the developments present a critical opportunity for the Syrian people to rebuild their nation on the principles of inclusivity, democracy and respect for human rights,鈥� said the Bangladesh foreign ministry in a statement.聽
Bangladesh reiterated its principal position on the territorial integrity and sovereignty in Syria, said the statement adding that it was imperative that all external actions respected Syria鈥檚 sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Bangladesh has urged all Syrian parties to maintain calm and peace in the Middle Eastern country while Dhaka is closely monitoring the recent evolving developments in Syria.
