The Bangladesh Peace Council on Saturday demanded an end to Israeli attacks on Palestine and mass killings in Palestine.

The BPC organised a press conference at the National Press Club, where central leader of the organisation Hasan Tarique Chowdhury in his written speech said that the Israeli armed forces had been perpetrating mass killing in Palestine for several months and killed many thousand people.


He demanded immediate stopping of the killings patronised by the imperialist United States of America and establishing a free Palestine state.

Mozaffar Hossain Paltu, president of the organisation, said that they would take up programmes to drum up support of the Bangladeshi people for Palestine.

Workers Party of Bangladesh president Rashed Khan Menon hoped that on the Palestine issue all the political parties would support Palestinian people.

Most of the people of the whole world were condemning the barbaric Israeli attacks on Palestine even the people of Palestine were demanding stopping of the attacks, Menon said.

Dhaka University professor MM Akash proposed for formation of an anti-imperialist combine to condemn attacks on Palestine.

President of Khelaghar Asar Mahfuza Khanam said that their organisation was working to collect support in favour of the Palestine.

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasod general secretary Shirin Akhter demanded immediate stopping of killings of children and women in Gaza strip.

Communist Party of Bangladesh general secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince proposed holding an all-party grand rally in Dhaka after Eid supporting the Palestinian people.
