Bangladesh women’s football coach Peter Butler on Saturday called 29 players for a 20-day training camp in Chattogram, ahead of their friendlies against Thailand in October.

The players will hold the camp at the Korean EPZ under Youngone’s management and return to Dhaka on October 16, BFF women’s wing chief Mahfuza Akter Kiron confirmed.


Bangladesh will fly to Thailand on October 21 for the friendlies on October 24 and 27 in Bangkok, which will be part of their preparation for their first appearance in the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, scheduled in Australia from March 1 to 21

Bangladesh have been drawn in Group B with nine-time champions China and three-time North Korea, alongside Uzbekistan.
