Bangladesh started their SAFF Under-17 Championship 2025 campaign in style with a 4-0 win over Nepal in their Group A match at the Racecourse International Stadium in Colombo on Thursday.
For Bangladesh Sabbir Islam (30th), Opu Rahman(49th), Md Arif (50th) and Md Manik (66th) scored one goal apiece.
Bangladesh will play their next and final game of the three-team group against hosts Sri Lanka on September 21.
In their first match, Nepal beat Sri Lanka 2-0 in the tournament opener on September 15, a day before Group B rivals India thrashed Maldives 6-0 and Pakistan crushed Bhutan 4-0.
