Bangladesh national football team鈥檚 position remained unchanged at 184th place in the latest FIFA rankings, announced on Thursday.
Bangladesh had a good opportunity to improve their position when they were scheduled to play two matches against Nepal during this month's FIFA window.
However, Bangladesh had to return home after playing just one match, which ended in a goalless draw, due to the mass uprising led by students against Nepal鈥檚 defunct government.听
Nepal's ranking also remained unchanged at 176th spot.
Meanwhile, Spain moved to the top of the FIFA rankings, followed by France and Argentina in second and third position, respectively.
Earlier, in August, Bangladesh women鈥檚 football team climbed their biggest 24 places in the FIFA women鈥檚 ranking, moving from 128th to 104th, following their historic qualification for the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup.
