Bangladesh take on Nepal in the SAFF Under-19 Championship 2025 semi-final at the Golden Jubilee Stadium in Arunachal Pradesh, India, on Friday.
The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm Bangladesh Standard Time.
Bangladesh reached the semi-final as Group A champions with a 2-2 draw against the Maldives before beating Bhutan 3-0 in their other group match.
On the other hand, Nepal reached the last four of the competition as Group B runners-up by crushing Sri Lanka 5-0 and conceding a 4-0 defeat to hosts India.
Bangladesh coach Golam Rabbani Choton was optimistic about winning the match against Nepal.
‘Bangladesh and Nepal both are good teams. We analysed the strengths and weaknesses of Nepal and have taken preparation accordingly. We will take the field to win the game,’ said Choton during his team’s final practice session at the NERIST playground on Thursday.
Group B champions India will play Group A runners-up Maldives in the day’s second semi-final at the same venue.
