Sene gave his team the lead in the 14th minute before doubling the margin in the first minute of stoppage time.聽

Brothers are now leading the points table with seven points from three games, followed by Mohammedan, Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society, and Abahani Limited, who have identical six points from two outings each.聽
Brothers, who finished 10th in the previous edition, started this year鈥檚 campaign with a 2-1 win over Police Football Club before playing a 1-1 draw against Fortis Football Club before the day鈥檚 win.聽
In the day鈥檚 other match, Fortis Football Club tasted their first win in three games after beating promoted Fokirerpool Young Men鈥檚 Club 3-0 at the Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur.聽
Local forward Piash Ahmed Nova (57th and 85th) scored twice after Gambian Omar Sarr (52nd) opened the account for Fortis, who are in fifth place of the table with four points.聽
