The curtain of domestic football will rise on October 11, with the Challenge Cup to be held at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in the city, as the Bangladesh Football Federation’s professional football league committee took the decision on Saturday.

The other two competitions —the Federation Cup and the Bangladesh Premier League — will begin on October 15 and 18, respectively.

The matches of the Federation Cup and BPL initially will be held in Kings Arena, Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla, and Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.

Bangladesh Football Federation vice-president and professional football league committee chairman Imrul Hasan made the announcement after a meeting with the participating club representatives at the BFF house.
