Bangladesh national women鈥檚 football team will face an upper-ranked Chinese Taipei in their second and final FIFA International friendly match at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in the city today.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:45pm and T Sports will televise the game live from the venue.

In their first match earlier on Friday, forward Su Yu-Hsuan struck a hat-trick as Chinese Taipei showed why they are 100 places ahead of Bangladesh (140th) in the FIFA rankings with a 4-0 win at the same venue.

Bangladesh, under the tutelage of new coach Peter Butler, started impressively, pressing from the beginning, but lost ground as the match progressed, going 0-3 goals down inside the 25th minute.

Chan Hiu Ming鈥檚 charges faced a tougher challenge from the hosts in the second half.

Bangladesh are playing Chinese Taipei as part of their preparation before the SAFF Women鈥檚 Championship to be held in Dhaka in October-November this year.
