
Rain is likely to continue over the next three days across the country, while the Dhaka city is expected to witness falls on Saturday, according to a forecast by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
BMD meteorologist AKM Nazmul Hoque told 抖阴精品 on Friday that intermittent rain is expected in Dhaka city and other parts of the country on Saturday.
He said that from Sunday onwards the weather in the Dhaka city may remain dry, while monsoon is expected to withdraw from Bangladesh within the next three to four days.聽
According to the BMD forecast, monsoon聽 less become less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over the North Bay.
It said that light to moderate rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, were likely to occur at a few places over the Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
On the other hand, one or two places over the Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Mymensingh divisions are likely to experience moderately heavy falls at places over southern part of the country on Saturday.聽
On Sunday, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places over the Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over the Dhaka,聽 Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.
The weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere across the country.
On Monday, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
On Tuesday, light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the Chattogram division.
