
Bangladesh embassy in Bangkok on Friday in a press release cautioned aspirant migrants and the people who already migrated to Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia about organised fraudulence.
The release stated that some scammer centres were spreading fake recruitment circular on social media or Whats鈥橝pp that they would recruit computer operator, typist and call centre operator.
The embassy requested people for more validation before any deal with any organisation and to check if there was any scam record.
The Bangkok embassy said that a number of victims of such scammed businesses were rescued from forced labour.
The release also said that scammers are also targeting expatriates or people living in Bangladesh for financial cheating.
The criminals exploit crypto-currency transactions to instantly shut down accounts and embezzle funds.
Bangladeshi citizens at home and abroad have been advised to exercise heightened vigilance while using social media.
