Bangladesh national cricket team arrived in Houston, Texas in USA on Friday ahead of their three-match Twenty20 International series against USA.
The squad reached there following a flight of around 28 hours and travelled over 8,000 kilometres.
Following their arrival, the team will now spend two days resting to adjust to the conditions in Texas, something most of the squad is unfamiliar with.
The only member in the squad who has a knowhow of the country is Shakib Al Hasan as the all-rounder鈥檚 family lives in the country and he spends most of his free time there.
For the rest, it鈥檚 time to know their surroundings before they start training for their three T20Is against USA on May 21, 23, and 25 in Dallas, Texas as part of their preparation for the forthcoming T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh will begin their T20 World Cup journey with a warm-up game against USA on May 28 in Dallas before another warm-up against India on June 1.
The Tigers will begin their official tournament in Dallas on June 8 against Sri Lanka, followed by their match against South Africa on June 10 in New York.
They will then move to West Indies, where they will face Netherlands and Nepal in Kingstown on June 13 and 17, respectively.
Bangladesh will need at least two wins to qualify for the Super Eight stage, and one more to not depend on any other team to qualify.
