The 4th IEEE International Conference on Signal Processing, Information, Communication and Systems began at Rajshahi University on Friday, bringing together academics, researchers and technology experts from home and abroad.

The two-day conference was inaugurated at the Faculty of Engineering gallery on Friday morning, while academic sessions would take place at the university鈥檚 Jamal Nazrul Islam Building.


Vice-chancellor professor Saleh Hassan Naqib attended the opening ceremony as chief guest with pro-vice-chancellor, administration, professor Mohammad Main Uddin and pro-vice-chancellor, education, professor Farid Uddin Khan as special guests.

The session was chaired by conference organising committee chair and head of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, professor Halida Homaira.

According to organisers, more than 150 research papers will be presented during the event, covering recent work in signal processing, information technology, communication systems and modern system design.

Participants said that the confenence aims to strengthen knowledge-sharing, foster international collaboration and expand new research opportunities in cutting-edge engineering fields.
