The Bangladesh Judicial Service Association on Friday warned that lower court judges would stage a pen-drop protest starting Sunday if their demands are not met within 48 hours.
The judges are seeking enhanced security for courts, judges鈥� residences, and official vehicles, as well as disciplinary action against the police officers who presented to the media the man accused of killing a senior judge鈥檚 son and injuring his wife.
The association issued the demands in a press release signed by its president, Amirul Islam, and secretary general, Muhammad Mazharul Islam.
