The 185th special basic training course for BCS health cadre officers was held at the Bangladesh Rural Development Academy in Cumilla on Wednesday.

BARD director general Saif Uddin Ahmed presided over the ceremony, said a press release.


In his speech, BARD DG congratulated all the trainees for successfully completing the training course and requested everyone to use the knowledge gained from the training course in the workplace.

He mentioned the importance of the basic training course in managing administrative matters in their working life.

He attached importance to ensuring that everyone got the desired service and highlighted the role of doctors in building a healthy, happy and prosperous nation.

BARD director, training, Abdullah Al Mamun also delivered a speech at the closing ceremony.

Benazir Ahmed, joint director, research, BARD, served as course director while Rakhi Nandi, deputy director, served as associate course director, and Azma Mahmuda, joint director, training, served as coordinator of the course.

50 officers of BCS health cadre participated in this training course. Dr Fatema Tuz Zohra received the DG award considering the overall results.
