An elderly man was killed when a train hit him in Bhadra area of Rajshahi city Sunday noon.
The deceased is Sadiq Ali, 70, son of Abdur Rahman of Barara village in Pabna sadar upazila.
The accident took place at around 12.45pm when a Rajshahi-bound train 鈥楧humketu Express鈥� hit the man in the area, said Rajshahi railway police station officer-in-charge Faisal Bin Ahsan.
鈥楶olice recovered the body and it will be handed over to his family after legal proceedings,鈥� the OC added.
