The Anti-Corruption Commission suspended its system analyst Md Rajib Hasan over allegations of amassing illegal wealth.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the ‘internal corruption prevention committee’ held on September 18, said ACC deputy director for public relations Aktarul Islam on Monday.
According to a notification issued on Sunday, signed by the commission’s chair Mohammad Abdul Momen, it was primarily proved that Rajib amassed a huge volume of illegal wealth being involved in the activities against the interest of the commission as well as the state.
Rajib will receive subsistence allowance during his suspension period as per the law and the order of his suspension will be effective immediately, said the notification.
