Later, a group of local people gathered in front of Homna police station, demanding exemplary punishment for the youth, who was later arrested on the same day and produced before the court on Thursday.
Despite the legal action, the mob used loudspeakers to gather people and then attacked Kafil Uddin Shah and Hawali Shah shrines, vandalised them and set fire to them, and the mob also damaged Kalai Shah and Abdu Shah shrines.
