Mohammad Abu Hanif Khandaker, assistant director of the information and services department of the National University, died at Ibn Sina Hospital at Kalyanpur in Dhaka on Sunday.
He was 47. He is survived by his widow and two daughters, said a press release.
His namaz-e-janaza was held at the National University campus.
National University vice-chancellor Professor ASM Amanullah has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mohammad Abu Hanif Khandaker.
In a condolence message, he prayed for the peace of the departed soul and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members.
