Badruddin Umar Shoksabha Jatiya Committee has been formed to a hold a condolence meeting on left politician and author Badruddin Umar.
The committee will hold the condolence meeting at the Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Hall at Bangla Academy at 3:00pm on September 19.
Badruddin Umar, who was president of the Jatiya Mukti Council, died at a hospital in the capital Dhaka on September 7 at the age of 93.
The committee was formed on Saturday at a meeting held in Bangla Academy in the capital, with Jatiya Mukti Council secretary Faiezul Hakim in the chair.
Faiezul will also lead the Badruddin Umar Shoksabha Jatiya Committee.
