The fresher reception of the 17th and 18th batch students of the department of tourism and hospitality management, Dhaka University was held at the InterContinental Dhaka on Monday.
Dhaka University vice-chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan spoke virtually as chief guest at the event, which was presided over by tourism and hospitality management department chairperson Md Shariful Alam Khandaker, said a prelease.
DU treasurer Professor M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was present as guest of honour while dean of the faculty of business studies Professor Mahmud Osman Imam, managing director of Bangladesh Services Limited Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan and director of sales and marketing department of Intercontinental Dhaka Rezwan Maruf were present as special guests.
