The department of international business of Dhaka University held a seminar titled IB Career Insights and a farewell reception for postgraduate students at the Professor Abdullah Faruk Multipurpose Hall of DU faculty of business studies on Saturday.
Dhaka University treasurer Professor M Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was present as chief guest at the event, which was presided over by international business department chairperson Suborna Barua, said a press release.聽
Founding chairperson of the international business department Professor Khandaker Bazlul Haque, Republic Insurance Company Limited CEO AKM Sarwar Jahan Jamil and BKME president Mohammad Hatem spoke as special guests at the seminar.
Samiul Mazhar Sama and Ahsanul Haque Joy, students of the 14th batch of the department, conducted the event.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that in the era of artificial intelligence, there were challenges as well as opportunities. 鈥楾herefore, we have to develop ourselves according to the needs of the era. People need to practice real-life problem solving and innovative thinking and need to continue practicing honesty in the workplace.鈥�
